‘Marshals’: Kayce Goes Rogue to Save Tate in Violent Showdown in Season 2 Premiere
The first details about the Marshals Season 2 premiere reveal that Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) finds out his son, Tate (Brecken Merrill), has been kidnapped and he’s going rogue to save him from an elaborate plot to steal East Camp. CBS revealed the first plot details from the Yellowstone spinoff’s return on September 1. Additionally, the first official photo from Season 2 can be seen above.
Here’s the description for Marshals Season 2 Episode 1, titled “All Hat No Cattle”: “When Kayce realizes Tate has been taken hostage, he goes rogue in a desperate race to save his son as the Marshals uncover a powerful criminal operation tied to the East Camp land grab. A violent showdown ensues, putting everything Kayce cares about at risk.”
There are no new details about the fates of Cal (Logan Marshall-Green) and Belle (Arielle Kebbel), who were left in a life-threatening scenario in the Marshals Season 1 finale cliffhanger.

Cal and Belle were framed and potentially shot by a man working for Tom Weaver (Chris Mulkey), who pretended to befriend Kayce in an attempt to buy his ranch. When Kayce declined to sell, Tom hatched a scheme to take the land by force that included taking Tate hostage.
