‘Marshals’ Sets ‘SEAL Team’ Reunion With Judd Lormand & Beau Knapp

Marshals showrunner Spencer Hudnut is reuniting members of his SEAL Team cast in Season 2 of the Yellowstone spinoff. Judd Lormand and Beau Knapp will guest star in Marshals Season 2, CBS announced on October 27.

Marshals is created by Hudnut and is based on characters created by Taylor Sheridan. Hudnut was the showrunner/executive producer for SEAL Team, which was created by Benjamin Cavell. Cavell is the new showrunner of Dutton Ranch following Chad Feehan’s exit at the end of Season 1.

Lormand, who played Eric Blackburn on SEAL Team, will guest star as “Eddie” on Marshals in a recurring role that will debut in the November 22 episode. Eddie is a Homeland Security Investigations officer visiting from New York in preparation for a high-profile trial. Grounded, a father and former athlete, and not afraid to hop into the fray, Eddie appreciates a straight answer and admires an operator with strong instincts and guts. Lormand is known for SEAL Team, Cape Fear, and Manhunt.

Knapp, who played Drew Franklin on SEAL Team, will debut in the same episode as Lormand on November 22. He plays Eric, the intense leader of a farming cult group suspected of running a large counterfeit alcohol operation. A master manipulator with a God complex and eerily calm in tense situations, Eric is a sharp reader of vulnerable people who use their weakest points to control them. Knapp is known for SEAL Team, Tulsa King, Road House, and more.

Marshals stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, who joined the U.S. Marshals in Montana after the events of the Yellowstone series finale and after the death of his wife, Monica (Kelsey Asbille).

Marshals also features Yellowstone stars Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty, and a new Yellowstone reunion is on the horizon when Jefferson White returns as Jimmy Hurdstrom later this season.

Marque Richardson will soon make his debut as a new recurring character, Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Burns.
