‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Teaser & Premiere Date Revealed

Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) has the weight of the world on his shoulders (literally) in the first teaser for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, released during the Disney+ show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The teaser also revealed the Season 3 premiere date.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres on November 20, 2026, on Disney+. The previous two seasons premiered in December of 2023 and 2025, but the Season 2 finale promised a shorter wait for Season 3. The new season is also switching days. New episodes of Percy Jackson will now come out on Fridays on Disney+ instead of Wednesdays.

Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, and other members of the team (including a virtual appearance from Leah Sava Jeffries) gathered in Comic-Con’s Hall H on July 23 to give fans an exclusive first look at the opening scene of the upcoming season, which is the first time that The Titan’s Curse, book three in Rick Riordan‘s Percy Jackson pentogoly, has ever been adapted onscreen.

Fans around the world can now see the first Season 3 teaser, which shows the first look at Percy holding up Atlas’ globe. The titan from Greek mythology was cursed to eternally hold up the sky. In Riordan’s book and in Season 3, the demigods take on the burden. Atlas is played by Mindhunter‘s Holt McCallany.

“It was my choice to hold the weight, the Titan’s Curse,” Percy says in the teaser above. “I knew the risk. But if I needed to sacrifice myself to save the world, to save my friends, was it really a choice?”

On the Percy Jackson Season 3 Comic-Con panel were Scobell (Percy Jackson), Simhadri (Grover Underwood), Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan), Tamara Smart (Thalia Grace), Levi Chrisopulos (Nico di Angelo), and Olive Abercrombie (Bianca di Angelo), joined by executive producers Craig Silverstein and Dan Shotz. The panel was moderated by content creator and Percy superfan Juju Green. Jeffries (Annabeth Chase) was unable to attend because she’s currently in production overseas on The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen, coming to Disney Channel.

Here’s the official description for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3: “The stakes are higher than ever before as Percy is faced with the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the impending Great Prophecy provided by the Oracle of Delphi, dictating the fate of Olympus. As foretold by the Oracle of Delphi, one demigod child of the ‘Big Three’ is fated to raise Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing into ruin, with their own life hanging in the balance.”

Disney+ says that Season 3 stars Scobell, Jeffries, Simhadri, Bushnell, Smart, and Chrisopulos, so while Annabeth has disappeared, she’s not absent from the episodes.

Jesse L. Martin, Kate McKinnon, David Costabile, Ming-Na Wen, Jennifer Beals, Dafne Keen, and Hubert Smielecki are also new additions to the cast in Season 3. Get all the details here.
