‘No Demo Reno’s Jenn Todryk Opens Up About Stepping Back From Her HGTV Series

It’s been two years since No Demo Reno aired its most recent episodes on HGTV, and Jenn Todryk doesn’t have any regrets about putting the show on pause.
Last month, Todryk reflected on her decision to step back from the HGTV series while sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from filming via her Instagram Story. “I do think I chose to walk away at the perfect time,” she captioned the post, per EntertainmentNow. “I didn’t want my kids to spend their childhood on a ‘set,’ I didn’t want their home and safe space to feel like a set or be at home while I was away.”
She added, “I see pictures like this and think, what a cool part of my story and not wishing it was my only story and for that I am SO grateful!”
Jenn shares her three children — Von, Berkley, and Vivienne — with her husband, Mike Todryk. No Demo Reno premiered on HGTV in 2021 and followed Jenn as she transformed properties into clients’ dream homes using little to no demolition. The show’s third season ran from September 2023 to December 2023, and has not aired new episodes since.
Jenn shared an update on the show’s future exclusively with TV Insider in March 2025, revealing that the series may not return to the small screen anytime soon. “I am super grateful that I have a really awesome relationship with HGTV,” she said at the time. “I know that the door is open, so whenever I want to make content, I can. That’s something I’m really grateful for. But life is so busy right now, I’m just trying to survive with all the home life stuff now. But HGTV is great and I really have loved working with them.”

A few months later, Jenn once again confirmed that the show was on an indefinite hiatus during a September 2025 episode of her and Mike’s You, Me & Mike podcast. “I had a show on HGTV,” she said before correcting herself to say, “Have a show.”
Jenn clarified that the show had not been canceled, and that she had been “back and forth” with HGTV’s parent company about “how we could still do No Demo Reno but make it a little more feasible for my life and the schedule.”
Jenn explained, “I was talking with [Warner Bros. Discovery] for probably four months about how can we still do this show… but how can I basically offload some of the responsibility onto a team or more people to where it can still live on, but I can take a step back?”
Ultimately, she came “to the realization that I’m either all-in and I’m over everything or I don’t do it” and decided to put the show on pause. “[My handler at HGTV] took it really well. She was like, ‘We’re obviously devastated, like it’s not what we want, but we understand. The door’s always open,’” Jenn told fans. “That’s where we left it.”
Despite the ongoing break, HGTV continues to air reruns of No Demo Reno. The series is also available to watch on multiple streaming platforms, including HBO Max, Hulu, and Discover Plus, among others.
