On March 19, 2026, Ursula Andress turns 90, and for many movie fans, she will always be remembered for emerging from the Caribbean Sea in a white bikini in Dr. No (1962), the first James Bond film. She instantly became one of the most recognizable screen presences of the 1960s. The scene helped launch both the Bond franchise and Andress’s international career, earning her the Golden Globe for New Star of the Year in 1964.
