Even Drew Carey was shocked at this one. The Price Is Right host screamed “No!” after a contestant lost out on taking home a car on the game show after changing her mind at the last moment.

Kimberly Carew won the first item up for bid on January 5. She had the highest bid of $1,300 on seven Mason watches. The actual retail price was $1,365.

When she got to the stage to meet Drew Carey, he asked her if she was nervous, and she said no because she had been on TV before. He joked that she had her own show, like Kimberly Mornings and The Real Kimberlys of Atlanta.

Carew played Temptation for the chance to win a 2025 Nissan Kicks Play. She had to correctly guess the price of the car by guessing numbers on items shown to her. Carew was given the first number, a two.

The first item was an electric golf caddy with clubs. The item was priced at $2,223, so Carew had to pick whether the next number of the car was a two or a three. She picked three.

The next item was AirPod Max headphones, which were $1,114. Carew picked one as the next number in the car.

For the third item, an eight-piece appliance package from Nordic was $577. She picked seven.

The last item was $990 in cash. Carew chose zero for the last number, which made the car $23,170. She was allowed to change any of the numbers on the board before locking in her answer. After listening to the audience, Carew changed the zero to a nine, making it $23,179.

She then had the choice to walk away with the four prizes in front of her as a sure thing or go for the car and the prizes. If she were off on one number, she would walk away with nothing.

Carew asked the audience, and they told her to go for the car. Carey revealed the numbers one by one. She had all of them right except for the last one, which was the one she changed. This made the car $23,179, so she walked away with nothing.

As the last number was revealed, Carey screamed “Nooo!” and walked away form the game. Carew dropped to the floor and closed her eyes.

Carew spun the wheel and landed on $1.50, so she did not advance to the Showcase.
