Molly (Maya Rudolph) and Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) are reuniting in the latest episode of Loot, and TV Insider has an exclusive first look at the shocking moment in the sneak peek clip above.
As viewers will remember, earlier this season, Molly let her grip on her longtime assistant and friend, Nicholas, go in order for him to pursue his dream of acting in a popular K-drama spinoff series. But, as the clip reveals, Molly has traveled to see her friend in action and is startled to discover his show is eerily familiar in that it’s a near carbon copy of her office and the Wells Foundation team.
In the episode, “Billionaire, Beautiful and True,” Howard (Ron Funches) realizes that she needs Nicholas, and it seems that involves traveling to Korea to find him. But will the dramatization of her real life be the thing to turn her away? As fans can see in the clip above, an actress greets a boardroom of colleagues, “Good morning, Wells Foundation!” She goes on to add, “Who should we save today with all of my money?”

Clad in a floral gown and sporting a bob on par with Molly’s, it’s clear this woman is portraying a version of the millionaire. Watching from behind the scenes, Molly can’t help but utter, “Holy s**t.”
The actress playing Molly’s role in this K-Drama goes on to deliver dramatized digs, calling Sofia’s (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez) stand-in boring and finding love with Arthur’s (Nat Faxon) double.
While Molly might be shocked to see herself and her colleagues portrayed by actors, it’s not the shock that Ainsley (Stephanie Styles) must feel in learning her character role is being filled by a literal dog. As Nicholas finally enters the scene, that’s the moment Molly feels compelled to step in, confronting her friend over this alarming setup. “What in the f**k?” Molly says.
