What’s Worth Watching: Someone Borrowed, Someone Blue on Archer
Archer, “Edie’s Wedding” (Thursday, January 29, 10/9c, FX)
Pam’s disturbing/arousing (depending on your proclivities) stories about life on her family’s farm get a matching visual, and her sister Edie lives up to the hype. Pam (figuratively) wrestles Archer into being her date to Edie’s wedding, catching the attention of Commie cyborg nemesis Barry (and Other Barry) on their journey from New York to Wisconsin. Rehearsal dinners are ruined, liver-shriveling amounts of alcohol are drunk, farm implements are misused. But best of all, Allison Tolman, fantastic in her breakout role as Molly Solverson in FX’s Fargo, lends her voice to Edie.
