NBC Universal has announced a partnership with Meta under which the companies will bring the former media company’s Peacock streaming app and a range of properties to the Meta Quest VR headsets.

Starting in 2023, the headsets will feature virtual-reality experiences for hit sitcom The Office, Universal Monsters, DreamWorks Animation, Blumhouse and Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, as reported by Variety. (I think they lost a lot of us scaredy cats at Halloween Horror Nights.)

The price point for the Meta Quest VR headset may be a little steep for some. Mark Zuckerberg announced on Tuesday that the Meta Quest Pro will cost $1,500 and begin shipping in late October. Meta Quest 2 models sell for $500 for 256 gigabytes of storage and $400 with 128 GB of storage.

Details aren’t immediately available for what Peacock or the other experiences in VR will look like on the Meta Quest headset, so there’s no telling if you’ll be able to harvest beets on Schrute Farms or not.

Fans of The Walking Dead will be excited to see a new trailer has launched for the virtual reality version of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners Chapter Two, and it looks just as scary as you’d expect.

In less exciting news, Meta also announced it has plans to integrate Zoom conferencing into its VR workspaces so you can have your office meetings like, you know, you’re really in the office. Now if they can figure out how to add Office characters to these office meetings, that would probably make this an easy sell.
