‘Scandal’: Full Season 6 Trailer and Premiere Date Released

For those of you who tore apart the 10-second Scandal teaser released on Tuesday night like it was the Zapruder film, here’s some good news: The full trailer was released this morning, and it’s got as many twists and turns as you would expect.

A premiere date for Season 6, delayed due to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy, was also announced: Thursday, January 19, 9/8c. This is also when the show’s fellow “TGIT” lineup members, Grey’s Anatomy and How To Get Away With Murder, come back from their winter breaks with new episodes.

Best line? Mellie (Bellamy Young) goes “I am done running for president!”, to which Olivia (Washington) responds: “Well, I’m not!” Oh, and there’s an explosion, which is always a fun tease.
