She may not be in her satin tights, but Wonder Woman is still fighting for our rights!

The CW has just revealed that Lynda Carter, who starred as Diana Prince in the 1970s version of Wonder Woman, is coming to National City as the President of the United States on Season 2 of Supergirl, as the show moves to its new network (but still airing Mondays at 8/7c).

The role is recurring and she’s slated to begin appearing in the third episode of the season. But given that there is a huge possibility we may have a real female president later this season, we would not be surprised if they kept Carter around for more than her original batch of appearances.
