Séamus McLean Ross is a Scottish actor who trained at London’s Guildhall School of Music & Drama. On screen, his television debut came in “Payback” (ITV, 2023), a crime‑thriller starring Peter Mullan and Morven Christie, where McLean Ross portrayed Nicky Leigh in the fourth episode of the six‑part series.

His breakout role came in 2025 when he was cast as Colum MacKenzie—the rough‑hewn but layered younger brother of Ellen—in the Starz prequel series “Outlander: Blood of My Blood."

Concurrent with the series, he filmed the feature “California Schemin,” directed by James McAvoy, in which he plays Gavin Bain opposite Samuel Bottomley. The musical‑leaning biopic charts the rise of Scottish rap duo Silibil N’ Brains.
