'The Perfectionists' Ends One 'PLL' Relationship: Where the Other Romances Are Now

You can only live in denial for so long, as Alison (Sasha Pieterse) learns in Wednesday's episode of The Perfectionists. The latest update on the spinoff regarding one of Pretty Little Liars' romances is one that everyone knew was coming, but still hurt fans.

With Alison and Mona (Janel Parrish) the only PLL characters who are series regulars on The Perfectionists, the future looked grim for "Emison" from the beginning of the series.

The 'Pretty Little Liars' alum also talked about playing a gay character on the CW's 'Roswell: New Mexico.'

Still, Alison wasn't ready to give up on her marriage. Though Emily couldn't "get past the past," she hoped starting over at her new job at Beacon Heights University would ultimately help their relationship.

Instead, it was clear that distance wouldn't solve their problems.
