‘Superman & Lois’ Has Super Familiar Faces — Here’s Where You’ve Seen These Stars Before

A decade after Smallville ended, The CW has another drama about Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Superman & Lois, with a cast full of super-familiar faces.

Leading the ensemble in the title roles: Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, who previously showed off their versions of the DC Comics characters in the Arrowverse crossover events “Elseworlds” (2018) and “Crisis on Infinite Earths” (2020).

Before he became the latest TV actor to don the Man of Steel’s cape, Hoechlin starred in the first four seasons of MTV’s Teen Wolf, playing werewolf Derek Hale, a mentor to protagonist Scott McCall (Tyler Posey).

Elizabeth Tulloch: ‘Grimm’

The new Lois Lane to Hoechlin’s Clark Kent, Tulloch isn’t a stranger to genre fare, either: She had a role in NBC’s Grimm as Juliette Silverton, the title monster-hunter’s veterinarian girlfriend (for the first four seasons, anyway).

Jordan Elsass: ‘Little Fires Everywhere’

Now appearing on Superman & Lois as the protagonists’ son Jonathan Kent, Elsass previously played Trip Richardson—the popular jock son of Reese Witherspoon’s character—on Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere.

Dylan Walsh: ‘Nip/Tuck’

Superman & Lois marks a return to TV stardom for this actor, who co-headlined the FX drama Nip/Tuck as plastic surgeon Dr. Sean McNamara, the long-suffering business partner of playboy Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahon). In this new project, Walsh plays Samuel Lane, Lois’ Army general father.
