The Fraser family is in the middle of a crisis.
Brianna (Sophie Skelton) revealed to Claire (Caitriona Balfe) that she was raped and is now pregnant, and doesn’t know who the father is. In a moment of confusion, Jamie (Sam Heughan) was led to believe that it was Roger (Richard Rankin) who assaulted his daughter, and then he brutally beat the time-traveler in the woods.
On Sunday’s new Outlander episode, “The Deep Heart’s Core,” according to a logline, “Jamie and Claire keep secrets from one another as they try to help Brianna process her recent trauma; however, the secrets they keep cause a bigger familial rift once they are revealed.”
Plus, as you can see in the sneak-peek photos in the gallery above, Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) returns to the series in an effort to help her family, and Bree meets the family’s Native-American neighbors.
