‘Outlander’: Jamie and Claire Set Sail to Rescue Young Ian (PHOTOS)
Jamie and Claire Fraser leave Scotland and sail off to the Caribbean to rescue their nephew, Young Ian, who was captured by dangerous people at the end of Episode 8.
The couple isn’t used to the hot and humid weather!
Along on the journey is Jamie’s “apprentice,” Yi Tien Cho, aka Mr. Willoughby.
Episode 9 is called “The Doldrums,” which are “equatorial calms, equatorial regions of light ocean currents and winds within the intertropical convergence zone.”
They voyage takes long enough for Claire’s gray hair to return.
Being at sea doesn’t mean there’s not time for a little romance.

On Outlander‘s all new episode called “The Doldrums,” Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) find themselves setting sail on the high seas for the West Indies to rescue their nephew, Young Ian (John Bell), who was captured at the end of Episode 8.
The voyage doesn’t go as smoothly as planned and the “superstitious crew looks for someone to blame after a string of bad luck, rescue comes from an unlikely source.” Could the mysterious Mr. Willoughby (Gary Young) come to their aid?
