Catherine Bell’s Mac Enlists ‘NCIS: LA’ to Investigate a Navy Chief (VIDEO)

Catherine Bell returns as Marine Lieutenant Colonel Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie to NCIS: Los Angeles — she was last seen in the Season 11 premiere — and this time, she’s the one who needs help.

In the April 26 episode, “Code of Conduct,” airing at a special time (10/9c), Mac asks NCIS to help with a sensitive case after two SEALs claim their chief murdered an unarmed prisoner. That sends Sam (LL Cool J), Callen (Chris O’Donnell), and Roundtree (Caleb Castille) to Afghanistan, while, as you can see in the photos below, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) work with Mac in L.A.

Bell’s appearances bookend the season — Episode 22 is the last new one — and could this end up leading to a JAG reboot? “Never say never,” executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told TV Insider.
