‘Good Trouble’ Stars Maia Mitchell & Cierra Ramirez Talk Gael’s Sexuality (VIDEO)

There’s a good reason why the word “trouble” appears in the title of Freeform’s new hit drama, Good Trouble.
The spinoff of The Fosters, which follows a post-college Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Callie (Maia Mitchell) on their own in Los Angeles, has already been renewed for a second season but that means more trouble is coming for the two Adams Foster sisters.
In the February 12 episode, “Imposter,” Mariana and Callie face both romantic and professional challenges and we grabbed some time with Mitchell and Ramirez to preview what we’ll see.
Mitchell also talked about the bisexuality of Gael (Tommy Martinez) — who Callie is starting to date — and dealing with her own impressions of what bisexuality is and means to her.
