Tyson (Jay Will) will face another upsetting setback in the next episode of Tulsa King, as TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the episode reveals.

In the above clip from Friday’s (October 23) new episode, “Blind Rooster,” Tyson revels in the size of his score from his and Goodie’s (Chris Caldovino) boost of the rival drug dealer — “We took 20,000 pills off that motherf***er … $20 apiece, that’s $400k,” he brags — until Spencer (Scarlet Rose Stallone) delivers bad news. She wants out of his ecstasy-dealing enterprise.

“I don’t think I’m cut out for it,” she explains.

“What you mean, you’re a natural-born player?” Tyson asks with a laugh.

“Life’s too short. I gotta bow out,” she answers.

Tyson takes the news in stride, saying, “It’s all good, it’s all good. I’m gonna get Grace [McKenna Quigley Harrington] to help me out.”

However, according to the actor portraying him, Jay Will, Tyson is a bit heartbroken in this moment because this is the second person to walk away from this thriving — albeit dangerous, highly illegal, and looked down upon by boss Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) — endeavor after Bodhi (Martin Starr) decided to step away in the premiere.

Will told TV Insider of this scene, “I remember that moment… and I remember it landed on me, and it hit me in a way of just kind of feeling isolated, neglected in a way, and also like they didn’t believe in me in a way, and they don’t want to have anything to do with it. But I immediately rebooted it, said, ‘Oh, it’s all good. I’ll figure it out. You know me. I figure it out real fast’ — put the charm on, act like it was no issue. But deep down, it definitely did hurt Tyson to be isolated in it.”

However, Will also teased that this setback is going to serve as a bit of motivation for his Tulsa King counterpart, explaining, “It also booted him up to be like, ‘You know what? Nobody, y’all don’t believe me. I’m about to show y’all.'”

We’ll have to wait and see exactly how Tyson moves on from this letdown when the next episode of Tulsa King premieres.
