Season 4 of Lucifer is already in production, but that doesn’t mean more cast members can’t be added!

Graham McTavish is joining in on the fun as Lucifer prepares its first season on Netflix post-Fox cancellation. The actor, who is currently playing Saint of Killers in AMC’s quirky series Preacher, will take on the role of Father Kinley.

TV Line broke the news, describing the character as a nice and empathetic reverend priest. Father Kinley is devoted to protecting “his flock” — a mission that doesn’t really jive with Los Angeles’s own Lucifer.

The part sounds different from McTavish’s more popular work — fans of Outlander remember him best as Dougal McKenzie, the stubborn uncle of Sam Heughan‘s Jamie Fraser.

Some of the actor’s other TV work includes roles on 24Colony, and voice work in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The news of McTavish’s casting comes not long after TV Insider announced that Imposters Inbar Lavi would join Season 4, as well.

Filming on Season 4 is currently underway, and is expected for an early 2019 release on Netflix. At this time, a 10-episode order has been made.
