In an exclusive clip for the Sony Crackle series, premiering in its eight-episode entirety on August 23 (the first three are available now on Amazon devices through the Sony Crackle app), viewers are offered some insight to the show’s dynamic. The series follows Riggle (Modern Family, The League) as a parody version of himself — a celebrity known for “his legendary ski master movies” — who purchases an Academy for “watercraft riding.”

Hilarity ensues as Rob, supported by his stunt man Dirk Hamsteak (Billy Merritt) and fellow instructors, defends the less than stellar academy against criticism. It doesn’t help that there are missing and or dead individuals!

In the exclusive sneak peek below, Rob informs his co-workers, including Future Man‘s Eliza Coupe and GLOW‘s Britt Baron, that it’s his birthday. But it isn’t just any birthday, it’s his 30th birthday. much to some of their surprise and disbelief. Not only that, but his crew has been tasked with helping him throw the party, but they aren’t invited to attend.
