Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, reposted the photo and couldn’t contain his excitement about the announcement. “NOVEMBER 4th!!!!!! Season 4!!!! Watch with 4 friends… 4 drams of 🥃 ? @outlander_starz,” he wrote.

This is the news Outlander fans have been waiting for ever since the Season 4 trailer dropped in July.

Season 4 follows Jamie and Claire as they settle into their new lives in North Carolina. But a new town, new continent, and new friends doesn’t mean their lives won’t be filled with just as much danger as in the previous three seasons.

So far, the cast members confirmed to return are: Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall Fraser), Richard Rankin (Roger Wakfefield), César Domboy (Fergus Fraser), Lauren Lyle (Marsali Fraser), and John Bell (Young Ian Murray).

Plus, a slew of new characters such as Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) and the villainous Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speelers) will be back. Set your DVRs, folks!
