'Outlander' Season 4 Teaser Trailer: Jamie & Claire Brave the New World (VIDEO)
Outlander fans just got a treat to help satiate their Droughtlander thirst through November.
On Monday night, the Starz series dropped its first teaser trailer at the NYC premiere event for Sam Heughan's action movie, The Spy Who Dumped Me. Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, surprised fans with an appearance and Q&A before debuting this never-before-seen footage. The teaser trailer was also live-streamed on the official Starz Outlander Facebook page.
Plus, he teases that the premiere 'all starts out with a bang.'
Season 4 of Outlander will contain 13 episodes and is based on Diana Gabaldon’s Drums of Autumn, the fourth book in her international best-selling Outlander series.
"The upcoming season continues the romantic adventures of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Heughan) in America and will premiere this November 2018 on Starz. Additionally, the series has been renewed for two more seasons, taking it through season six," a press release revealed.
The show's fourth season premieres in November.
In the short clip, we see Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) creating a new home in North Carolina. "We can start anew," Jamie tells her. But danger follows the couple, no matter what country they occupy.
Fans also get a glimpse at some new characters including Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speelers), and a large cast of Native American actors.
