‘The Big Bang Theory’: Bill Gates Signs on as Guest Star
What could Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates possibly bring to The Big Bang Theory?
How about insane excitement for Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg)? Emotions will surely run high when Gates guest stars as himself in a March episode and—no surprise here—the guys will do anything to meet him. There’s only one thing that possibly could be standing in their way—Penny (Kaley Cuoco).
In the episode, Penny hosts Gates at work, and once the boys find out, the hilarity begins for them as they attempt to come face-to-face with one of their idols.
This isn’t the first time that a tech icon has guest-starred on TBBT. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak played himself in a 2010 appearance on the hit comedy.
The long-running series returns with new episodes on March 1. The Gates episode will air later in March.
