Nicollette Sheridan is ‘Dynasty’ Reboot’s New Alexis!
Paige-ing all of you Knots Landing fans! The CW has just announced that Nicollette Sheridan has been cast as their new Dynasty‘s Alexis Colby Carrington. And we so approve!
As the oft-mentioned ex-wife of Blake (Grant Show) and mother to Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Steven (James Mackay), the woman who rocked Knots as Paige Matheson before her stint as Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives is a perfect pick to slip into Joan Collins’ Louboutins. With her obvious soap chops and sexy, sassy style, Carrington Atlantic is in for a major shakeup when Sheridan’s Alexis finally arrives on the scene later this season.
Until then, do yourselves a favor and catch up on the reboot. Whether it’s the sordid backstory that has emerged about Cristal (Nathalie Kelley), the class-meets-crass dynamics between Sammy Joe (Rafael de la Fuente) and butler Anders (Alan Dale) or the always awesome Gillies’ turn as a way more modern Fallon, this Dynasty has definitely carved out an identity of its own and one that is a campy blast to behold. Also, who ever thought Blake Carrington could be a hottie?!
