WATCH: 'Full Frontal' Takes on Climate Change and Scott Pruitt

If you’ve been paying attention for the past couple months, you’ve probably noticed that Mother Nature has finally had enough and is trying to kill us all. As Samantha Bee reminded us on Wednesday night’s special Climate Change edition of Full Frontal, 2017 was the first year in recorded history in which the U.S. was hit by three Category-4 hurricanes. “Climate change isn’t some far-off threat in the distant future, like Beyoncé aging. It is upon us!”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has a fossil fuel industry shill running the EPA…into the rapidly toxifying ground.

With everything Scott Pruitt is doing to withdraw environmental restrictions and deregulate carbon emissions, it’s no wonder Gaia is going all Mommy Dearest on us with the hurricanes and the wild fires and the floods and the plagues of ticks. But Bee and co. are more of a "catch more flies with honey" kind of operation. (Oh, god, are all the bees still going extinct, too?)

So they invited singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson by to explain Mother Earth’s plight in a less…murdery way.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Wednesdays, 10:30/9:30c, TBS
