My current favorite show is
Homeland. The plotlines have been consistently surprising and intriguing, and Claire Danes is mesmerizing.

My dream costar
Jason Bateman. He is funny, talented—and tall.

The show I miss most
Mad Men—especially the first few seasons. I remember seeing the Season 1 finale and my jaw was on the floor.

What I eat while watching
Ice cream! But only on weekends.

The show I’d like to guest star on
Project Runway. It’s the show I’ve seen every season of. I was a guest judge once, and this is my way of asking, “Can I come back?”

The funniest person on TV is
Kate McKinnon. She exudes that bizarre hilarity from every cell.

The first thing I watch when I wake up
Cable news, at 3:30am.

The last thing I watch before I go to bed
NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. Yes, I go to bed early. See wake-up time above.

Today, Weekdays, 7am, NBC
Her children’s book, Princesses Wear Pants, is out September 12.
