The Lincoln Awards: A Concert for Veterans (Friday, May 22, 9/8c, PBS)

The Kennedy Center hosts this first annual Lincoln Awards concert that pays tribute to our veterans, their families and those who support them. Bruce Springsteen and WalMart are among the recipients while Alec Baldwin, Jon Bernthal and JR Martinez, the wounded warrior who won Dancing with the Stars, offer their thoughts. But it’s not all speechifying. Gavin DeGraw, Nick Jonas, Rhiannon Giddens and Aloe Blacc sing while Whitney Cummings and Rob Riggle, a Marine Corps Reserve veteran himself, make fun of stuff. So you can feel good, shed a tear or two, laugh and sing along.
