Vanity Fair Confidential

Vanity Fair is cooking up another season of crime for Investigation Discovery. The network has just ordered a second season of Vanity Fair Confidential, even while the show's freshman season is still underway.

The new season will launch in 2016. Once again, the series will tap Vanity Fair writers and editors to share details about famous crimes and drama, and utilize its archives as source material. "The pages of Vanity Fair establish a cultural fiber to even the most sensational stories," says Henry Schleiff, the group president of Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel , Destination America, Discovery Family and Discovery Life.

The show airs Mondays at 10/9c. The March 30 edition with feature "The White House Boys," a look into the disappearance of kids from Florida's Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys amid reports of beatings, torture and sexual assaults. The April 6 episode, "Presumed Guilty," centers on two men wrongfully convicted of murdering a fifth grader in Illinois.

True Entertainment and Conde Nast Entertainment produce Vanity Fair Confidential for Discovery.
