Rachael Ray isn’t slowing down despite fans’ speculation about her health.
According to a new Page Six report, the former Food Network star is “doing great” and “working hard” right now, focusing on her FYI shows, Rachael Ray’s Meal in Minutes and Rachael Ray in Tuscany. Ray is reportedly working on a handful of new projects set to release soon, including a new YouTube series.
Per the outlet, Ray is also focused on projects off the small screen, including her kitchen cookware and pet food brand, Nutrish, and The Rachael Ray Foundation.
The report comes as fans have expressed concern for Ray’s well-being in recent years. Back in 2024, Ray posted an Instagram video about the time she thought she “killed” Tony Bennett at her home, after which fans said they believed her speech was slurred and delayed.
“Something is off with her. She didn’t look well and her speech is delayed,” one commenter wrote at the time. Another added, “She’s having Shortness of breath when talking.” Someone else shared, “Health problems are a personal issue. Why does everyone think she has to share?”
A different person argued, “Ridiculous comments. Just watched a couple of Season 1 episodes of Meals in Minutes and she doesn’t sound any different here than there. She sounds perfectly normal. People are so quick to spread nasty rumors!” A separate user stated, “Please take care of yourself Rachael….something seems way off.”

The following month, Ray shared a health update on her I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead podcast. “I am a homemaker. I love chores, I love being in the kitchen… I really like chores,” she told fans. “What people consider physical work… I like making dinners, planning dinners, making lists.”
While talking about her love of “physical labor,” Ray noted that it had taken a toll on her. “I like to help carry in the wood. I had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks so I haven’t been doing that in a while,” she revealed. “I love carrying wood. How many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more? I don’t say that to [my husband] John [M. Cusimano], I just say that to myself.”
Earlier this year, fans voiced their concerns again in the comments of one of Ray’s Instagram cooking videos. “I didn’t even recognize her,” one person remarked. Another said, “I haven’t seen her is SO LONG. I’m genuinely wondering.. is she okay?”
A different commenter stated, “Did something happen to her?” Someone else stated, “All the nasty ignorant, hateful comments. You’d think they never saw someone gain a little weight before.”
Ray offered another health update, specifically about her menopause journey, in an interview with People earlier this month. “I have no menopausal signs of any kind. My sister’s the same way. She’s 67. She never had them either. I’ve always had an easy time, just in life, when it comes to that kind of stuff,” she said. “I take my doctor’s advice on hormone replacement or whatever my doctors advise me.”
Ray also encouraged people to “eat lots of color in your diet,” adding, “You’re getting lots of the right vitamins without the need of supplements. I do take supplements also.”
