See Erin & Ben Napier in ‘Home Town Takeover Canada’ as Show Gets Premiere Update

Erin and Ben Napier may not be hosting the new season of Home Town Takeover, but they still stopped by to welcome its new stars.

Home Town Takeover Canada, hosted by Sarah and Bryan Baeumler, premiered on Sunday, October 25. Following the premiere, Sarah shared several photos of herself and Bryan with Erin and Ben on the show’s set via Instagram.

“That’s a wrap on episode one of Home Town Takeover Canada! We’re so grateful to Ben and Erin for welcoming us into the Home Town family and for providing us with the opportunity to bring this incredible series to Canada,” she gushed. “Getting to kick it off alongside them in Port Alberni was something we’ll never forget.”

Home Town Takeover Canada airs on HGTV in Canada and streams on the Canadian streaming service Citytv+. The series isn’t available to watch in the U.S. yet, and HGTV has yet to announce when the show will hit the small screen stateside.

In her post’s caption, Sarah shared a positive update on when U.S. viewers can watch the show. “To all of our US fans, Home Town Takeover Canada is airing in Canada first, and we hope to be able to share it with you in the near future!” she wrote.

Fans shared their thoughts on the premiere episode, and their excitement for its future U.S. premiere, in the post’s comments. “Definitely heading to Harbour Quay next time I’m on my way to Tofino. Great episode!” one user wrote. Another said, “So can’t wait to see the show here in the US, totally bummed when it wasn’t on HGTV! Need to have shows like this on, not constantly house hunting ones!!!!”

Someone else added, “I live on Vancouver Island and I watched the first episode last night. Amazing- I love that Port Alberni was chosen for this opportunity! The show brought tears to my eyes more than once! Can’t wait to watch the progress!!” A different person posted, “I was extremely disappointed that it wasn’t aired in the US. I had it on my calendar and everything. Oh well.”

Erin and Ben launched Home Town Takeover on HGTV in 2021. The series follows the couple as they revitalize small towns across the U.S. through a series of renovation projects. Home Town Takeover Canada follows the same premise, but features Sarah and Bryan tackling renovations across Port Alberni, British Columbia.
