‘Dancing With the Stars’: Jan Ravnik Reveals Part of Tatyana Ali’s Dance We Didn’t See

Tatyana Ali showed vast improvement with her dancing on this week’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, and viewers at home didn’t even get the full picture! In the middle of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star’s quickstep with partner Jan Ravnik, there was a slight filming mishap, with cameras only focused on the crowd, instead of the dance floor, for about 10 seconds.

Luckily, Ravnik stepped in after the live show and shared footage from the part of the dance we missed on TikTok. “You guys missed this,” he captioned the video, which showed a chunk of Ali’s dance that was filled with quickstep content.

Even without the extra portion, it was clear that Ali did a great job on her routine, which is why the judges scored her with a 21/30, her highest of the season so far. She tied for third place on this week’s leaderboard behind Harry Shum Jr. and Amber Glenn (with 24/30) and Maura Higgins (with 22/30). Jenna Dewan and Ezra Frech also finished the night with 21/30.

It was enough to get Ali and Ravnik through to the fourth week of competition. Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were the pair eliminated at the end of the show.

This is only Ravnik’s second season as a DWTS pro, having joined the show after going viral on Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024. For Season 34, he was partnered with Jennifer Affleck and they finished in ninth place.

Ali has come a long way since her Week 1 performance, during which she had several missteps and only scored 12/30. For Week 2, she upped those scores to 18/30, then moved up even higher in Week 3.
