Is ‘Leanne’ Returning for Season 3 on Netflix?
On the eve of the Season 2 premiere of Leanne, fans can’t help but wonder if the Netflix show will return for another season. The comedy, created by Chuck Lorre (Two and a Half Men), premiered in July 2025. It was renewed for a second season that September.
The series, which landed in Netflix’s global top 10, follows Leanne (Leanne Morgan), who is a resilient Southern mom who has to start over in life when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. She has the support of her loving, but unfiltered family.
Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, August 27. It is set to tackle dating woes, aging parents, and new challenges. All 10 new episodes will drop at the same time.

Guest stars for Season 2 include Lainey Wilson, Jaime Pressly, Billy Gardell, and Tyne Daly. If Leanne is renewed for another season, that same cast would likely return.

I love the cast and adding Jaime Pressley is perfect, she needs to be a permenant member of the cast.

My husband and I LOVED the series Leanne. It was charming, witty, and so very entertaining; a wholesome show. We were so disappointed when season 2 came to an end. We want more; much more!
