NBC Fall 2026 Premiere Dates: ‘Line of Fire,’ ‘SVU’ & More

NBC is kicking off the 2026-2027 season with the Emmys on September 14, then in the days that follow, its fall season will begin. Premieres will air through October and November.

It all begins with a two-hour kick-off for The Traitors: New Blood, the civilian edition, on Thursday, September 17. (Two hours will also air on September 24, before switching to one hour on October 8.) The following week is when things really begin, with The Voice Season 30 (Queen Latifah and Riley Green join Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine as coaches) and new drama Line of Fire starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis on Monday, September 21. The America’s Got Talent finale will air on Wednesday, September 23.

The Dick Wolf shows then return in the beginning of October. Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. return on October 7, then Law & Order (in its new time slot) and SVU (the longest-running scripted primetime series in television history) on October 8. NBC’s comedies — Happy’s Place, Newlyweds, St. Denis Medical, and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins — premiere at the end of October and beginning of November.

NBC will also be airing a three-hour celebration of its 100th anniversary on Thursday, December 10. This will also be the 100th year of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, airing on November 26.

The Rockford Files and Sunset P.I. will debut in January and February, respectively.

    Oh boy can’t wait for Line of Fire . It will be great to see Peter Krause in something new and different. Loved him on 911 was my favorite character . Monday night just got better.

    Can’t wait for SVU & L&O and Chicago Shows maybe the Line of Fire if it’s not a dumb game show. These game shows & reality marriage shows belong on the station they were on to start with. Don’t want game shows on at night give me decent good shows at night time like Chicago or something meaty. Not stupid things. I’m grown up not childish.

      Newlyweds is a later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman and a reserved professor who impulsively get married, only to struggle with blending their established lives and contrasting personalities. The series stars real-life married couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. They’re great together so I’m hopeful!!

        So basically it's like the ABC show Step by step (if they have families that need to be blended as well) or Dharma & Greg (free spirit woman vs reserved guy). Not a new concept here, but I'll watch it.
