Are Rob and Michaella still together?

After Episode 11 of Love Is Blind Season 11, Rob and Michaella have officially called it quits. The couple met in the pods, where Rob revealed that he valued his relationship with Michaella because she was more mature than most of the women he had previously dated.

Back in Boston, Rob introduced Michaella to his mom and brother, and they instantly fell in love with her as well. There, Rob told his mom that Michaella was going to meet his friends, whom he listed as John “Jay” Oliver, Jeff Souza, and Andrew DaSilva. While his mom questioned whether that meant Michaella would meet their wives, Rob made it clear that he wanted to make sure she could hang with the boys before bringing their wives into the mix.

What happened between Michaella and Rob’s friends?

Immediately after Michaella sat down with Rob’s friends, Jay told her, “You look like a hot Italian mother that makes good meatballs, good pasta, and you know how to play around in the bedroom.” It only got worse from there. He then asked if she had an OnlyFans — her answer was no — and another friend asked whether her fashion career inspired her to come on the show for the wrong reasons. She told him, “I can’t fake it.”

During their conversation, Michaella confessed, “People’s first impression of you might be that you’re abrasive. I don’t believe that about you. But I get it.” She then shared, “There’s really nothing at this point that’s going to change my mind now that I’ve met his friends and family.”

As Jay started to ask uncomfortable questions about their sex life, he requested another drink, and production let him know that he was “cut off” by the restaurant. After that, Rob told the crew, “Let’s end it all. Cut the cameras. You’re cut off. I’m cut off.” Seemingly starting to spiral, Rob told viewers, “I’m not gonna let my boy— I’m real. I’m not this phony-a** Hollywood bulls**t.” Soon after, he tried to buy another round, and his brother Ryan told him to “Chill.”

Later, Michaella told viewers, “Rob had too much to drink the night with his friends and kind of started coming at me a little bit personally, off camera, saying that he thinks I have a lot to gain professionally from being on this show.”

Did Michaella say Rob was aggressive?

After Rob’s friends got cut off at the bar, he brought up, “What about that one time you said I was aggressive? Were you lying or no?” He added, “That one time we were riding in the car. You said, ‘You pulled my earrings.’ Were you lying or no?”

Michaella calmly responded, “I was not lying. You grabbed my face, and my earrings were pulled. It was not on purpose.” When he continued to ask, “Have you ever felt like I was aggressive towards you? Yes or no?” Her response? “No. Other than this moment, no.”

Why did Rob crash out at the Pod Squad get-together?

At the Pod Squad get-together, which Michaella said that she did not want to go to, the duo reunited with Diana and Matt, clearing the air after meeting face-to-face for the first time. Later, Rob told Michaella, “I feel like I’m getting grilled,” and confessed that he was worried about Michaella leaving with Matt, even though she didn’t show any interest in him.

When Rob went to talk to Diana, he made a big scene out of their first in-person conversation. After a brief catch-up, Rob started to worry that the public would “rip [them] apart” for talking. Diana then revealed that Rob was worried he was going to “get canceled” the entire time they were in the pods.

Returning to the crowd, Rob told the cast, “I’m going down in this thing as the biggest piece of s**t. Right where Netflix wants me, buddy.” After some more yelling, he shouted, “Hey! Newsflash. No one knew each other a month ago. Wake up, boys! […] If I fell off a bridge, do you think you guys would care? No.” After that, Michaella went into the bathroom with Erika Ellis, where she could be heard crying.

Why did Rob and Michaella break up?

At the bar, Michaella told Erika, “I cannot marry this man under any circumstances.” She then told Rob that while he was claiming nobody cared about the experiment, she caught “genuine feelings” for him, so it wasn’t just for TV. Rob then brought up the earring debacle again, telling her, “I’ll bring this up forever. You lied about me one time.” After that, Michaella told him that while she’ll love him forever, they’re “obviously not gonna work out.”

The next day, Rob confirmed that they had split, telling viewers, “I think I have more things going on than some people might have going on.” He then revealed his dad died a few months prior, and two of his best friends died. He also lost his job and ended an engagement all within a year and a half.
