Food Network’s Duff Goldman Celebrates 1st Father’s Day as Dad of 2

Duff Goldman celebrated Father’s Day for the first time as a dad of two kids.

“Happy Father’s Day dads! I make lots of things but these are my masterpieces,” the Food Network star captioned an adorable Instagram photo of himself holding his two kids, Josephine and Sam, on Sunday, June 21. “They’re works in progress as we all are but so far they’re doing pretty good.”

He added, “I’ve still got a few rough edges that need sanding but I’m confident that I’ll get myself to a respectable place. And let’s be honest, I’m the sous chef in this kitchen. @johnnapgoldman is the one driving this train. I just fix things.”

Goldman’s followers wished him a happy holiday in the post’s comments, including his wife, Johnna Colbry, who wrote, “There’s nothing I love more than our sweet family. You’re the best dad in the whole world!” One user posted, “Y’all made those 2 with the absolute FINEST ingredients! Happy Father’s Day Sir!” Another gushed, “Happy Father’s Day Duff!!! What lucky children you have to have such a wonderful, smart, good, kind, fun, happy, talented Father in you!”

Someone else shared, “Beautiful! Happy Father’s Day, Chef!” A different person said, “Happy Father’s Day!! Beautiful babies!” A separate commenter stated, “You are a great dad because you are a big kid. You relate to your munchkins. Josephine is almost as tall as you and Sam is happy and hanging on for the ride. Johnna, you have your hands full…in a great way!”

Goldman and Colbry tied the knot in 2019, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Josephine, in 2021. Back in November 2025, Goldman revealed via Instagram that the couple was expecting their second child. Their son, Samurai “Sam” Jack, was born on March 31.

“I’m so excited to get the chance to raise a good little man into the world. I’m so excited for this sweet little baby to live his life and become the man he is destined to be,” Goldman wrote alongside family hospital pics via Instagram on April 3. “He’s got the best big sister a kid could ask for and his mommy is the best one I’ve ever seen. Starting off on the good foot, Sam, just don’t do the dumb stuff I did. Invent your own dumb stuff. Go get ’em, Tiger. I’m rootin’ for you.

Colbry celebrated Goldman with her own Father’s Day tribute on Sunday, marking her first Instagram post since announcing Sam’s birth.

“Happy Father’s Day to the man that can fix literally anything and is always down for an adventure,” she captioned adorable pics of Goldman with Josephine and Sam. “To the man that nourishes the family and still finds time to watch a Bob’s Burgers before bed. The man that loves the three of us so unconditionally I can’t wrap my brain around it. We love you sweet dada!”

Underneath the post, one fan gushed, “Happy Father’s Day, Duff! You bring everything you’ve got to the dad game wrapped in love attention, affection, and kindness! Josephine and Samurai are two very lucky young children!” Another wrote, “Happy Father’s day Duff! Enjoy every moment with your beautiful family.” Someone else stated, “Wonderful pics! Happy dad’s day to one amazing guy!”
