Brooke Hogan may not have won Season 7 of Rock the Block, but she walked away from the experience with no regrets.

After seven weeks of intense competition, Kim Wolfe and Chelsea Meissner were crowned the latest winners of the HGTV competition series during the Monday, May 25, season finale. After the episode, Hogan took to Instagram to tearfully reflect on her Rock the Block journey with her teammate, Scott McGillivray.

“So, that made me re-cry, all over again. I was blubbering in the house,” she said while shedding a few tears. “Of course, I knew who won because we filmed it long before it aired. But to re-live it was just, not heartbreaking, but I just don’t know how to even explain how much that experience meant to me.”

Hogan went on to praise her husband, Steve Oleksy, for being a pillar of support throughout the filming process. “[He] watched our kids for two straight months while we filmed. We brought our cats out there. I’d get home, and we’d be right back with the babies. We didn’t have any babysitters,” she stated, “Steve literally mom-dadded the whole time I was there on set, every single day.”

Hogan also quipped that the finale episode “didn’t show how bad I was crying,” adding, “I don’t know if you can tell by my face as I was walking around, hugging people, but I was a mess.” She also joked that the compliments guest judges Drew and Jonathan Scott gave about her house design could be credited to her.

“That was a BB Designs house,” she said, referring to her design company. “Scott was really a lot of the architecture and blowing down walls and stuff like that. But all that furniture, all that stuff, that’s how we would have done one of our houses.”

She continued, “It’s so funny because Scott just took everything in stride. Half the time, he was like, ‘I don’t know. We might not win.’ I’m like, ‘How do you know we might not win?’ I feel like he had an inkling because he just knows the stuff so well. But I’m really proud of Kim and Chelsea.”

Later in her video, Hogan shared the “heavy” reason why her Rock the Block casting meant so much to her. “[My reality series] Brooke Knows Best, its life was cut short by a couple of reasons — I can’t talk about it, or I’m not ready to talk about it yet. I really did think that I was just OK with floating back into nothing, and I didn’t ever think I was gonna do TV again, and I started my design business and worked really hard at it,” she explained. “And whoever gave me the chance to be on this show, at the network, I just have to thank you because it reignited my soul.”

Brooke, who is the daughter of the late Hulk Hogan, added, “For a long time, I thought there was some invisible stigma around me, being associated with my family and all the drama that came out. … For a long time, it just felt like, ‘Ugh, don’t touch anything Hogan.’ And I felt like I was the baby that was thrown out with the bathwater, in a sense, and it was really hard to do music or TV or anything like that again.”

Praising her fellow Rock the Block contestants, she stated, “Mina [Starsiak Hawk] is the nicest, sweetest person. We have a lot of things in common. Vernon [Davis], hilarious. Steve loves Vernon. Of course, sports. … Scott, amazing. My lifelong friend now, forever. You can’t get rid of me, Scott. I will always be on you like white on rice. You are one of my favorite humans. Taniya [Nayak], Drew [Lachey], Chelsea, Kim, I just love you all.”

Brooke concluded her video by blowing a kiss into the camera and stating, “Thank you, HGTV, I appreciate everybody watching.”

In the post’s comments, Nayak wrote, “Best prize- getting you (and all of our RTB fam) in my life!” Host Ty Pennington posted, “You guys were the Best!!”

I was hoping for Scott and Brook...I love any project Scott is involved in. I feel the value added for the RV/sports area was HUGE but the appraisers missed the mark. Obviously, there is a demand for a place to park an RV or the homes wouldn't have be n built with them in the first place. The fact it can also be a sports area is a WIN because families with kids will love that area. I bet their house sells first. Taniya and Drew's home was a close second. Been a huge fan of Taniya's for years.
