The Mummy 4 officially has a release date — but fans of the franchise shared mixed reactions to the news.

On February 10, multiple outlets reported that Universal Pictures set a release date for the fourth Mummy Installment for May 19, 2028. That means the film, directed by Radio Silence’s Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, won’t hit theaters for more than two years.
