Not all Bridgerton weddings are created equal. Over the years, viewers have come to expect at least one wedding from Netflix’s Regency drama every season now that we’re three and a spinoff deep. We’ve also learned, however, not to expect them to play out the same way. So far, five Bridgerton couples have made it down the aisle, but how they get there has been vastly different.

Season 1’s Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon’s (Regé-Jean Page) wedding was hastily arranged, and Season 2 technically never saw Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) actually wed. Season 3’s Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) may be the most traditional of the bunch, and Francesca’s (Hannah Dodd) and John’s (Victor Alli) was the simplest.
