‘Family Stone’ Sequel in the Works After Diane Keaton’s Death

The Family Stone has a sequel in the works after Diane Keaton‘s death.

In an interview with CNN published on November 19, writer-director Thomas Bezucha opened up about his mission to revisit the Stone family 20 years after the 2005 film premiered. Keaton played matriarch Sybil Stone in the romantic-comedy drama that follows a chaotic family at Christmastime. At the end of the movie, Sybil dies from breast cancer after revealing her terminal illness.
