Whatever Happened to E.G. Daily, Star of ‘Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure’ and Voice Acting Legend?

At first glance, you may not know where you’ve seen E.G. Daily, but you’ve undoubtedly heard her voice. ’80s kids may remember her as Elizabeth Daily, when she starred as Loryn in Valley Girl, or Dottie opposite Paul Reubens in Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. Or, if they owned the soundtrack to Better Off Dead, they rocked out to the film’s title track “One Way Love (Better Off Dead).”
But for those who grew up in the ’90s, E.G. Daily was one of the voices of their childhood. Not only did she voice Tommy Pickles on Nickelodeon’s Rugrats, but she also voiced Buttercup, the “awesome fighter” of The Powerpuff Girls and Babe in Babe: Pig in the City. Honestly, if you have a favorite cartoon growing up, chances are Daily appeared on it.
