They'd better do something about the hair! Yikes!

O
Can't change the 1960's - that's how it was.......

I'm not sure if hester meant Claire's hair or Jamie's hair - dreadful. Is that how he is supposed to look in "Voyager"? I hope not.
-
O
Jamie's hair usually looks dreadful.

Maybe I'm the odd duck here, but I notice the emotive acting, skilled writing, beautiful scenery and true-to-period costumes much more than I focus on anyone's HAIR.

LOL true dat. But I was hoping - since the actor got a haircut - that he will get a wig/some sort of the extensions so Jamie would wear his hair in a plait/ponytail like other male characters from 18th century. He is supposed to be in his mid forties and look like a laird, not a computer science nerd from 20th century 😉

Of course, YOU do! Heaven forbid that anyone approach the subject of Outlander with anything less than COMPLETE reverence, right? LOL! It is possible to focus on all those lofty attributes you so virtuously listed AND notice that Sam's hair needs some help.

B
Yes, I was referring to Jamie's hair!

B
I should have made it clear I was referring to Jamie's hair...he was not in the 1960's. Claire's hair looks 60's great!

Sam looks like he has had a little too much Rhenish!

Well, he's supposed to be fighting at Culloden, living in a cave and then in prison. Not a lot of opportunities for good hair days.

If that's his post-Culloden/Ardsmuir look, then it's absolutly fine. But they are currently filming post-reunion stuff so...of course it's not such a huge deal after all but I don't think the hair he wears in the above clip is true to that period of time and certainly not for a rescpectable man in mid forties who runs a business in Edinburgh.
