‘Inventing Anna’ Tops Every Nielsen Streaming Ratings Chart In Second Week

Inventing Anna has taken streaming by storm. The Netflix limited series came in No. 1 on all of Nielsen’s U.S. streaming TV ratings charts the second week of its release. It stars Julia Garner as Anna Delvey, who Netflix describes as the “Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene — and stole their money as well.”

The series debuted February 11 on Netflix and nearly tripled in viewers between its first week and its second week. It had 3.3 billion minutes watched for the week of February 14-20, compared to 1.2 billion minutes the week prior. It initially ranked at No. 4 on Nielsen’s U.S. chart. Now, Inventing Anna is No. 1 by a long shot. And it’s followed by several other Netflix titles.

Love Is Blind is No. 2 on the chart, with 1.4 billion minutes watched. Ozark (which Garner also stars in) is No. 3 at 1.1 billion, and Amazon Prime Video’s Reacher dropped from No. 1 to No. 4 at 935 million. Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias is No. 5 at 898 million, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel made No. 6 at 499 million. And rounding out the top 10 (in order) are Netflix’s Raising Dion (489 million), Space Force (438 million), and All Of Us Are Dead (340 million), and Disney+’s The Book Of Boba Fett (339 million).

 

Netflix’s acquired titles also dominated the acquired top 10 for the week of February 14-20, with NCISCocomelonCriminal MindsGrey’s Anatomy, and Seinfeld. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Supernatural, New Girl, Bluey, and Downton Abbey take up the other five spots.

The top 10 total streaming titles, including movies and acquired shows, are Inventing AnnaLove Is BlindEncantoOzarkReacherSweet MagnoliasNCISCocomelonCriminal Minds, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Inventing Anna was Shonda Rhimes’ first showrunner foray for Netflix. It’s nine episodes total and costars Anna Chlumsky, Laverne Cox, Katie Lowes, Arian MoayedAnders Holm, Jeff Perry, Jennifer Esposito, and more. The other Netflix Shondaland titles that have already been released are Bridgerton and Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker. Bridgerton comes back for Season 2 on Friday, March 25.
