Dearest reader, Netflix has bestowed Bridgerton fans with quite the treat as it unveils a full Season 2 trailer for the Regency-era romantic drama.

The Shondaland title officially returns for a new chapter on Friday, March 25 and the latest first look serves up three full minutes of juicy footage, below. Netflix is also unveiling new photos of the fan-favorite Pall Mall game depicted in the book by Julia Quinn on which the series is based.

Keeping up with the tradition of Quinn’s novels, this season sets up a new romance, this time about the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), and his quest for love. As teased in the trailer, he’s searching for a match with his head and avoiding finding love with his heart, but that might be easier said than done when he meets the Sharmas.

The young and bright-eyed Edwina (Charithra Chandran) is at the top of his list, but winning her hand will take some convincing as he attempts to also win over her sister Kate (Simone Ashley). Of course, nothing is ever as simple as it appears on the surface as deeper feelings form between Anthony and Kate, making way for a complicated love triangle of sorts.

“What happens when duty is in conflict with the heart’s true desire?” Lady Whistledown’s (Julie Andrews) narration asks, “Why then there is the potential for a considerable scandal indeed.” We see that conflict come to light in the interactions between Kate and Anthony, the latter of which desperately says, “my honor is hanging by a thread that grows more precarious with every moment in your presence.”

Among other highlights in the chock-full tease is a Pride & Prejudice parallel for Anthony who takes an unexpected dive into the pond, a new connection for Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) continued secret-keeping pastime as Lady Whistledown, and much more.
