Writer • Producer

Michele Fazekas founded her reputation on the ability to write across the genres of drama, comedy, crime, mystery, and science fiction, earning a prosperous career in the television world as a result of her versatility. Fazekas started out behind the scenes as a producer's assistant on "The X-Files" (Fox 1993-2002, 2016-), though quickly found her first writing gig on the series "Get Real" (Fox 1999-2000). She wrote for the comedy-drama series "Ed" (NBC 2000-04) and the crime procedural "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC 1999-) before landing her first producing credits. From there on, she double-teamed series like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Reaper" (The CW 2007-09), and "Dollhouse" (Fox 2009-2010), and "Hawaii Five-0" (CBS 2010-) as a writer and producer. She ascended to the position of executive producer for the first time on the fantasy drama series "Resurrection" (ABC 2014-15). Following the series' cancelation after only two seasons, Fazekas found even greater responsibility behind the scenes of the Marvel Studios series "Agent Carter" (ABC 2015-), on which she served as showrunner alongside long-time creative partner Tara Butters.
