Welcome to a whole lot of tension and love. The Neighborhood shared that their series finale will be filled with two weddings, tension, confessions, and more.

The episode, titled “Welcome to Goodbye,” is set to air on Monday, May 11. According to the logline, the series finale brings loved ones together in two joyful weddings.

“Old tensions” and “heartfelt confessions” surface one last time. However, tough goodbyes loom as the Butler and Johnson families look ahead to new chapters. However, the chapters appear to be positive as they are shaped by “love, growth, and change.”

The two weddings in question are between the Butler sons — Marty (Marcel Spears) to the mother of his child, Courtney (Skye Townsend). They share a daughter, Daphne, together. The second wedding is between Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) and reality TV star Mercedes (Amber Stevens West). Both of the sons proposed earlier in the season.

While it is not exactly clear how the Johnsons’ story will wrap up, the finale is sure to be a tearjerker for fans.

Along with McKinney, Spears, West, and Townsend, the CBS sitcom stars Cedric The Entertainer as Calvin Butler, Tichina Arnold as Tina Butler, Max Greenfield as Dave Johnson, Beth Behrs as Gemma Johnson, and Hank Greenspan as Grover Johnson.

Find out how it all plays out on the series finale on May 11. See photos below. However, fans will have to wait to see the brides until finale night.
