‘The 100’: Predictions for Every Character’s Ending in the Series Finale

Lola Flanery as Madi, Eliza Taylor as Clarke, Lindsey Morgan as Raven in The 100 - Season 7 Episode 13
Colin Bentley/The CW

However you feel about Season 7 of The 100, there’s no denying it’s been an unpredictable ride.

So perhaps it’s silly to try to figure out where these characters will end up; after all, very few would’ve called Bellamy’s (Bob Morley) death via Clarke (Eliza Taylor), or Madi’s (Lola Flanery) torture and subsequent loss of all motor function. But with just one episode to go, we think we can parse where some of our favorites (and even our least favorites) might wind up.

Here’s who we think will live, who we think will die and who might “transcend.”

The 100, Wednesdays, 8/7c, The CW

Clarke

Prediction: Dies…?
Yeah… we’re pretty sure Clarke isn’t making it out of the finale, at least in her current state. What does that mean? Well, there’s a second door our heartbroken heroine could take — if she passes the test and saves everyone, she could “transcend,” maybe with Madi, and thus be reunited with everyone she’s loved and lost. But if saving Madi isn’t an option, we doubt Clarke will continue to choose to fight on — after all, she basically said as much in the penultimate episode.

Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia in The 100 - 'The Dying of the Light'
Jack Rowand/The CW

Octavia

Prediction: Lives, Goes Back to Sky Ring
Season 7 has proven there’s truly nothing this show won’t do, but we don’t see it killing off yet another fan favorite so close to the finish line, especially with Bellamy gone. Plus, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) has Levitt now, and we’d really like to see them have a happy ending. They deserve it. There’s a good chance that happy end might involve Sky Ring, since that was where she found the most peace.

Lindsey Morgan as Raven in The 100 - Season 7, Episode 12, 'The Stranger'
Diyah Pera/The CW

Raven

Prediction: Lives, Goes Exploring
She just has to. She has to. We won’t accept anything else. After everything Raven (Lindsey Morgan) has been through, she deserves survival maybe more than anyone else on the show right now. Plus, she’s not currently in too much peril, assuming she went back to Sanctum and not Bardo, as Emori (Luisa D’Oliviera) requested. In a perfect world, she might set out on a voyage of discovery a la Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, but we’d best not get our hopes up.

Murphy

Prediction: Lives (but Dies is equally likely)
Honestly, Murphy (Richard Harmon) could go either way. If The 100 really wants to twist the knife here, the cockroach might die and the woman he loves might live, thus providing a truly cruel twist of fate considering hers is the life currently in grave danger. But we’re really hoping Murphy survives the show’s final hour.

Richard Harmon as Murphy and Luisa D'Oliveira as Emori in The 100 - Season 7, Episode 10 - 'A Little Sacrifice'
Dean Buscher/The CW

Emori

Prediction: Lives, Goes With Raven
If she was going to die, it would’ve been during this episode. No, we’re pretty sure Emori’s going to live on past whatever conflict comes to a head in the last episode; it’s just a question of whether the man she loves makes it, too. If not, we could see her going off to explore the stars with Raven, since the strength of their bond was just cemented with that “I love you.”

The Queen's Gambit

Echo

Prediction: Lives, Goes Back to Sky Ring
We could’ve seen Echo (Tasya Teles) sacrificing herself for Bellamy somehow, but with him gone and her having forgiven Clarke, what else is left for Echo to die for? We think it’s likely she ends up going off to find peace in the end, maybe with Hope (Shelby Flanery), since she’s the only remaining member of her little found family. Ironically, that would also mean Echo winds up living in close proximity to Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).

Lola Flanery as Madi, Eliza Taylor as Clarke, Lindsey Morgan as Raven in The 100 - 'Blood Giant'
Colin Bentley/The CW

Madi

Prediction: Transcends
Like Emori, we think if Madi was going to die, Octavia would’ve pulled the trigger in the penultimate episode. Instead, she was left alive (albeit in a vegetative state) — but, narratively speaking, why? It makes sense that Madi might transcend in some way, thus saving her soul after Bardo’s torture destroyed her mind.

Jack Rowand/The CW

Gaia

Prediction: Lives, Goes Back to Earth
Gaia (Tati Gabrielle) is not the half of her family that we’re concerned about. Plus, on the off-chance Clarke survives, it seems the show might go the “Clarke-and-Gaia-as-Madi’s-moms” route. If that’s what ends up happening, we think Earth is the most likely destination for her.

Indra

Prediction: Dies
Yeah, we’re pretty worried about Indra (Adina Porter). She’s made her peace with everyone — her daughter, her semi-adoptive warrior daughter, even Shiedheda (JR Bourne) — and usually, making peace spells death on a show like this. We could see her sacrificing herself for Gaia or Octavia somehow, or even being a casualty in the “last war,” since she’s shown on a battlefield in the promo.

Shelby Flannery as Hope and Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia in The 100 - 'The Dying of the Light'
Jack Rowand/The CW

Hope

Prediction: Lives, Goes Back to Sky Ring
Hope’s almost certain to continue on, along with Jordan (Shannon Kook); and she might just head back home, with O and Levitt, to the planet she grew up on.

Jack Rowand/The CW

Jordan

Prediction: Lives and Goes With Hope, and/or Transcends
Assuming transcending is a real thing, Jordan might just opt to become a glowing ball of golden light. He certainly seemed unopposed to the idea when he explained it last episode, and if it somehow meant he could see his parents again, we bet he’d take that option.

Jessica Harmon as Niylah and Lindsey Morgan as Raven in The 100 - Season 7, Episode 10 - 'A Little Sacrifice'
Dean Buscher/The CW

Niylah

Prediction: Lives, Goes to Earth
Many doubt this show would kill off another LGBTQA+ character after what happened with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) — although that might not hold true for Clarke. Either way, it’s possible the explosion didn’t hurt Niylah (Jessica Harmon) too badly. It’s hard to predict where she’ll end up, though — maybe going back to Earth with Gaia.

Jack Rowand/The CW

Jackson

Prediction: Lives, Goes to Earth
Killing off Jackson at this stage would just be … cruel. Sure, after this episode he doesn’t have “he’s the only doctor!” plot armor anymore, but it’s also unlikely he’ll even end up on Bardo, since he’s no fighter. Let’s hope he stays in Sanctum, preferably with Miller (Jarod Joseph), and then they get to live their lives in peace.

Bettina Strauss/The CW

Miller

Prediction: Lives, Goes to Earth
He and Jackson (Sachin Sahel) deserve to be happy together, gosh darn it! But we’re predicting he’ll head to Earth permanently, as the only remaining member of the original hundred to get back to the planet. Or at least, we hope so.

J.R. Bourne as Sheidheda and Adina Porter as Indra in The 100 - Season 7, Episode 9
Colin Bentley/The CW

Sheidheda

Prediction: Dies

This guy has been creeping into antihero territory in the past few episodes, but we still think he’s destined for death by Indra or Octavia’s hand.

The 100 prequel pilot anaconda
Shane Harvey/The CW

Cadogan

Prediction: He’d Better Die
And preferably in the most horrible fashion possible, after what he did to Madi.
