Peter Weber

Peter would be a great choice for Bachelor. Not only is he sweet and handsome, he has a stable job and seems serious about finding a life partner. He came off great during his After the Final Rose episode and has the support of Bachelor Nation behind him. Plus guys… four times!

Mike Johnson

Bachelor Nation is seriously rooting for Mike to be the next leading man. Mike would make history as the first black lead of The Bachelor, which would be amazing, but he’s also deserving of the position for a number of other reasons. He’s got a great personality (and smile!), a good job as a portfolio manager (and an Air Force vet), and he seems to have his priorities in check at 31.

Tyler Cameron

There’s no question fans are obsessed with Tyler, but it feels like Hannah kind of ruined his chances to be the next Bachelor after she asked him out during the After the Final Rose. But, if things don’t work out between him and Hannah, we could definitely see producers picking him. He’d be ratings gold!

John Paul Jones

John Paul Jones would make great television, plain and simple. Is he mature enough to be the Bachelor? Probably not. But he would bring the fun and the chicken nuggets, so count us in!

Shawn Booth

This is definitely a long shot, but following his breakup from Kaitlyn Bristowe last year, we’d love to see Shawn get another chance at love. He seems ready to find a life partner and settle down, so he’d take the opportunity seriously. Plus, who doesn’t want to look at Shawn for two hours every week?

Jed Wyatt

This will probably never happen in a million years, but you never know! While most of Bachelor Nation is very anti-Jed, becoming The Bachelor star could potentially repair his reputation. Not to mention, he did seem remorseful following his breakup with Hannah. Again, it’s a long shot, but it could happen.

Peter Kraus

Bachelor Nation was up in arms when Arie Luyendyk Jr. was chosen as star of The Bachelor over Peter, so maybe now’s his chance to be the leading man. Peter would take the opportunity seriously, and he’d also make for great television (just as eye candy alone!).

Now that The Bachelorette is officially wrapped, it’s time to start thinking about who will be our next Bachelor. Though Season 24 won’t premiere until 2020, they will probably announce their new leading man within the next month or so.

While there are a lot of fan favorites to become the next Bachelor — like Mike Johnson and Peter Weber — there are a few wildcard options the producers should consider.

Check out the gallery above for our picks for candidates to become our 2020 Bachelor.
