‘Leverage: Redemption,’ ‘Sex/Life’ & More Shows on the Rise in July
As it does every month, Parrot Analytics rounded up the digital original series that grew most in demand, and the top 10 climbers from June to July are an exercise in extremes.
The fastest risers in streaming TV demand over the past month range from lustful to Looney, with the erotic drama Sex/Life sidling up to Disney animation Monsters at Work and the sexy reality competition Too Hot to Handle edging out Bugs Bunny & Co.’s Looney Tunes Cartoons.
Meanwhile, existing IP was the name of the game, with most of these titles based on beloved books, movies, comics, and cartoons. But the fledgling streaming platform IMDb TV was able to leverage some serious nostalgia. Leverage: Redemption, an update of the 2010s-era TNT action drama, is No. 1 by a mile, with demand leaping more than 720 percent.

The resurgence of Leverage …in Leverage Redemption has been the escapism that I have needed and missed. It has a little bit of everything. Action, Drama, comedy. Wonderful story telling and terrific acting by the Original cast along with the two new cast members. Kudos to Dean Devlin and the Writing team along with IMDb tv for getting this show on the air. Looking forward to the second half of season 1this fall

I've watched the new Leverage but I'm with Sophie it's not the same without Nate, I've thought after all these years that Harrison and Parker would at least be married by now or engaged or something by now not still dating. I hope Brianna be as helpful as Harrison. I missed Harrison not being there I dure hope that he comes back in season 2.

But they are together - that's made clear in the episode where Hardeson goes off to deal with stuff elsewhere (so they can write the actor out for a bit) and it's referred to again in at least a couple of later episodes.

But still not same without Harrison beinging there plus I loved the way both him and Parker used to act around each other but this virus came out. But I still hope that Harrison comes next season

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I did start to watch Leverage Redemption, but I also gave up on it quickly.
They probably don't report that.

leverage redemption is embarrassingly woke. pathetic pandering to virtue signaled everywhere. they even killed off their leading man.
