Jeopardy! fans basked in the joy of watching former champions Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer compete for the title of the greatest player of all time in Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time, but they aren’t the only familiar faces that appeared onscreen.
No, we’re not talking about beloved host Alex Trebek, who remained as sharp as a tack in this tournament. This special programming event actually featured a slew of big names, not in-studio, but reading the answers for which contestants must find the corresponding question.
The event kicked off on Tuesday, January 7 and the key of the game was for the players to win three matches. The first champion to successfully pull in three would be crowned Jeopardy!‘s greatest of all time and be awarded the $1 million grand prize, with the runners up will walk away with $250,000 each.
In the end, Jennings was that winner by Night 4, with Holzhauer and Rutter coming in at second and third place. In the gallery above, we’re breaking down all of the celebrities who appeared in the special event through the categories.
